Charles G. Carter, ChFC®, RICP®

Financial Planner


Chuck has more than 25 years of experience in financial services, qualified retirement planning, estate planning, and insurance design. He began his career as a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter in Phoenix, Arizona, and obtained his FINRA Series 7 and 63 securities registrations (now held through Commonwealth Financial Network®). In 1999, he worked with Nationwide Retirement Solutions, a national leader in providing qualified benefits to businesses, schools, and municipalities. In 2005, Chuck moved to Phoenix Life as a wealth management consultant and was recognized for high performance both in the field and in the home office.

Most recently, Chuck worked as an insurance planning specialist at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. His focus was risk management, business succession planning, and estate planning. Chuck has also earned two designations through the American College: In 2013, he completed the Charted Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designation and in 2016 he earned the Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®) designation.


An Arizona resident since 1973, Chuck attended the University of Arizona and earned a BS in business. He lives with his wife of 25 years, Brandi, and two very busy children, McKenna and Ryan, in Phoenix. When the family isn’t in school or working, they enjoy exercise and eating out.

David Moratti, CFP®, ChFC®, CRPC®

Financial Planner


David joined Chuck and Keri at Camelback Retirement Planners in June 2023 as a financial planner and partner in the practice.

Prior to joining Camelback, David spent 28 years at Morgan Stanley, most recently as an Executive Director and Branch Manager leading advisors and teams in the Private Wealth Management and Global Wealth Management divisions in the Philadelphia market. David began his career in financial services in 1995 as a financial advisor working with individual clients focused on planning and transitioning into retirement. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, holds the CFP® ChFC® and CRPC® designations, and completed executive leadership programs through the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School and Thayer Leadership at West Point, as well as the Family Wealth Director program through Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management.

David, his wife Caitlin, and two young daughters recently relocated from Philadelphia to Phoenix. They are highly active in their daughters' many activities and hobbies and share a love of reading, coaching, the outdoors, running, fitness, and sports of all kinds.

Keri Holloran

Client Services Manager

Keri joined Camelback Retirement Planners in February 2017 as the client services manager.

In this role, Keri assists in preparation for all client meetings, handles pre/post-meeting paperwork, and maintains all client activities and files. If you need to make an appointment or have any questions about a particular CRP, office procedure, or process, Keri is the one to contact. Additionally, she assists in opening new accounts and manages the day-to-day office operations.

Originally from Indiana, Keri graduated with a BA in marketing/sales from New Mexico State University where she was a member of the women’s golf team. Keri has lived in Phoenix since 1988 and is a past winner of the Phoenix City Women’s Golf Championship. Keri lives in the Arcadia area of Phoenix with her husband, Pat; their two children; and two rescue dogs. In her free time, Keri enjoys golfing and spending time with her family.
